If you completed your NSW Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training during the 2025/26 CPD year, keep an eye on your inbox. 

NSW Fair Trading has begun sending a short evaluation survey to selected licence holders who recently completed CPD training with approved providers across the state. 

The survey is part of Fair Trading's ongoing review of the CPD framework and is designed to better understand the experiences of real estate and strata professionals undertaking mandatory training. 

What Is the Survey? 

The questionnaire asks participants about their experience completing their CPD course, including the quality of the training and whether it met their expectations. 

According to NSW Fair Trading, the results will be used to: 

• Better understand the experiences of licence holders completing CPD. 

• Identify opportunities to improve the quality of CPD training. 

• Strengthen the overall CPD framework for the property industry. 

The survey takes around seven minutes to complete, participation is voluntary, and responses are anonymous. 

Why Your Feedback Is Important 

The NSW property industry has undergone significant changes over the past 12 months, with new CPD requirements, updated legislation and an increased focus on professional standards. 

Feedback from practising agents, property managers, buyers agents and other licence holders plays an important role in shaping future training requirements and helping regulators understand what is working in practice. 

Whether your experience was excellent or you have constructive suggestions, taking a few minutes to complete the survey helps contribute to a stronger CPD system for everyone.
